This picture shows the early wooden knee joint made in 1947/8, these were replaced in 1949 by the metal joints.

This type of joint was used on very early Wonky toys and some of the first sold under the Pelham Puppet Name.

This type of joint was used on several types including Noddy and Big Ears.

This picture shows the waxed string through knee joint made from moulded plastic which was first introduced during 1960.

This type of joint was used on many puppet types including many of the 1963 range. It was produced in several different colours.

This was featured on several puppets where the lower leg was not hidden by clothing.
