The WH range is a very small range of simple puppets produced young children using just 3 strings.
This was Pelham Puppets first attempt to a mass produced puppets which did not need the specialist painters to paint of their features.
They were made in the same way as other junior puppets but the features were printed on the head using a modified paper printer. The hands were also simple disks of wood.
These were first introduced in 1964 and went on till at least 1982
