Jumpette  Range

 A range of simple stringed puppets designed for very young children They use a simple single bar control and only had 2 strings or 3 strings.

The animals all had one to the head and one to the rear.

The human character's hands are connected from one hand, up to the controller and then back down again to the other hand by string and  the head is connected to the center of the control by elastic or string. If elastic is used, when a child moved the puppet it would jump into action. Hence the name "Jumpette"
